Welcome to Camping Vermeille in Zweisimmen, a family-run year-round campsite in the green Simmental valley in the Bernese Oberland. Now run by the third generation of the family, the warm-hearted host family ensures a personal and familiar atmosphere.
The campsite is idyllically situated in the charming and cosy village of Zweisimmen, in the middle of the green Simmental valley with views of the beautiful Rinderberg mountain. With its central location and excellent connections to public transport and the road network, Camping Vermeille is the perfect starting point for a variety of activities in the surrounding mountains and picturesque villages. The surroundings of Zweisimmen are characterised by a lovely landscape with lush, green meadows that invite you to hike, bike and linger. The Simmental is known for its unspoilt nature and hospitable atmosphere.
Comfort and cleanliness
Camping Vermeille emphasises cleanliness and comfort. The modern, clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities offer you everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen for guests with tents and a heated and dehumidified room for clothes, boots and skis for winter sports enthusiasts. A ski bus runs to the ski station twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon for campers.
Activities in summer and winter
Zweisimmen is the ideal starting point for numerous bike tours and hikes. From leisurely strolls to challenging mountain bike tours - there's something for everyone here. The rivers such as the Simme and Saane are also popular destinations for canoeists and kayakers. There are many leisure activities for families, including the swimming pool and the playground right on the square. With the Gstaadcard, you can explore the area for free by bus and train. From summer 2025, you can explore the Zweisimmen-Gstaad region with the Magic Pass
The first-class winter sports areas in and around Zweisimmen are popular for skiing, cross-country skiing and winter hiking or simply for soaking up the sun.
