Small campsite with a family atmosphere

Let the first rays of sunshine kiss you awake and enjoy the heavenly peace and enchanting landscape of the Simmental with a cup of coffee. On hot days, cool down in the small pool or with a cool, freshly tapped beer under the shady pergola. The small campsite restaurant serves delicious pizzas!

Camping Arnist has been set up where the cows used to graze for 15 years. The small campsite is family-run, with everyone from the grandparents to the youngest camping assistant, aged 13, helping to welcome and look after the guests. If you are looking for peace, nature and a cosy atmosphere, this is the place for you. Wake up in the morning with the sun, listen to the birds singing and look forward to a day full of different possibilities. Countless short, long, strenuous or leisurely hikes can be undertaken directly from the campsite, and the surrounding area can also be beautifully explored by bicycle. If you want to go a little further afield, take the train and discover the Simmental and the Saanenland.

Enjoy the silence in Oberwil church. Built in the 13th century as a small late Romanesque hall church with a choir. The tower, nave, sacristy and the three bells were added in the 14th and 15th centuries, and further extensions were added until the 18th century.

The church is a short 5-minute walk from the campsite.
