The Association Camping Bernese Oberland

The Bernese Oberland is probably one of the most versatile vacation regions in Switzerland: Hardly any other area has as much to offer in terms of scenic diversity and range of leisure activities as the region between Gstaad and Grimsel Pass.

35 individually managed campsites offer the right camping experience for every need in the midst of unspoiled mountain scenery, along streams and lakes or in the middle of greenery: from 2-star camping close to nature to 5-star comfort campsites with children's entertainment and water bouncy castle.

Strong together

The Association Camping Bernese Oberland represents the interests of the campsite owners in the Bernese Oberland as a member of the Swiss branch association Swisscamps VSC. It is represented with two seats in the foreground of the VSC.

The aim of the association is to make the interests of the campsite operators heard on a political level wherever necessary and to consolidate their position as a serious tourism sector. In addition, the exchange of information among the members is to be promoted.
At the same time, the perception of the Bernese Oberland as a diverse camping region should be strengthened in the relevant target groups at home and abroad with targeted marketing measures.
